Former Governor of Rivers State, Barr, Nyesom Wike has reiterated that he will not run away from the country as he is not scared of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Speaking, during a media chat, the Obio/Akpor born politician said he will be in his community and not runaway like some former governors.
According to him, should the EFCC come after him, they would spend six months in Rivers state moving from one place to another to see his achievements while in office.
“I’ve told you that I’m not going to run away to anywhere after the expiration of my tenure as Governor; I’ll be in my community in Rivers State but If EFCC come to Rivers State, they will spend six months moving from one project to another to see what I’ve achieved while I was in office,” he said.
