The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki was last night forced out of the premises of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, during collation of Saturday’s Governorship election results.
Obaseki, was asked to leave the premises by Deputy Inspector General of Police, Frank Mbah around 4:10 am on Sunday, after protest from members of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Source say, Obaseki had entered the promises unannounced at around 2 am allegedly to protest irregularities in the collation of results.
