The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, says it is aware of confirmed Ebola cases in Guinea, and is assessing the risk to Nigeria.
The commission, disclosed this in a statement over the weekend, following eight confirmed cases of the deadly virus in the West African nation.
It said a public health advise will soon be issued concerning the virus, which few years ago, killed over a hundred thousand persons across West Africa.
The commission also noted that it is in touch with the World Health Organization, Africa Center for Disease Control and some other Organizations who are coordinating efforts in the region, to curtail the spread of the virus.
