Governorship candidate of Accord Party in Rivers State, Dumo Lulu-Briggs has promised to relocate and settle occupants of 75 Victoria Street at old Port Harcourt Township which was gutted by fire.
The governorship hopeful in a statement vowed to stand by the victims at all times, and thanked God that no life was lost in the incident
Director, persons living with disabilities, Accord party, Mr. Simon revealed that the building and properties worth millions were destroyed in the fire after a gas explosion on Sunday.
According to him, shortly after the incident he reached out to Dumo who immediately responded by visiting the area.
He commended Dumo for the kind gesture describing him as a man with a golden heart, and urged Rivers people to vote for him in saturday’s election.
