Public affairs analyst, Fyneface Dumnamene, has criticised the recent peace deal between Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, describing it as worse than the earlier eight-point agreement.
Dumnamene alleged that the latest truce appears to be a form of punishment for Governor Fubara’s failure to fully comply with the terms of the initial agreement brokered to resolve the political crisis in the state.
He made the remarks in a public post on Sunday, stating, “The peace deal is worse than the eight-point agreement. It’s a punishment for not holistically obeying the eight-point agreement.”
