The reigning world women’s 100m hurdles champion and record holder, Tobi Amusan will not be participating at the forthcoming World Athletics Championships scheduled to hold from August 19 to 27 in Budapest.
This is as her name was not included on the list of participants released by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN).
The AFN revealed its list of 26 athletes, comprising 11 male and 15 female contenders, slated to compete in the event.
Amusan is facing a provisional suspension issued by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for missing three drug tests during the current season, mere weeks before the World Championships.
