Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has urged residents to vote for continuity in the forthcoming elections, warning that electing his opponents could lead to the abandonment of ongoing projects across the state.
Makinde said only an administration aligned with his vision could complete the projects initiated by his government, urging voters to support the candidate he recommends.
“You have to vote for continuity to complete the projects we have started. Only our incoming administration can do it, except you go to vote for those ones ‘lapping themselves’; that’s where your problem from home will start from,” he said.
“They will forget, but if you vote for whom I am recommending, it will be done,” he added.
