Raymond Dokpesi Jr. has thanked friends and well wishers who prayed and fasted for him,and members of his family to recover from the COVID-19. Dokpesi Jr, his dad and some of his siblings who tested positive for the virus three weeks ago have all recovered and tested negative for the coronavirus. They were treated at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital.
Dokpesi who commended the NCDC and the Abuja teaching hospital noted that he was pronounced positive without any medical proof. He equally pleaded to the authorities to release their medical records to them.
He made this known on Friday in a message where he stated that he’s sojourn at the isolation centre was an eye-opening experience. He said the experience has loaded him with confidence in the commitment of health practitioners in ensuring the welfare of patients.
Dokpesi said: It was also an exposé into the practical limitations of the system in ensuring even with the best intentions that public health objectives in the face of COVID-19 are achieved and sustained.
He also stated that noted that he started feeling well after some drugs were administered to him.
