The distribution of sensitive electoral materials for the Rivers South-East Senatorial District bye-election is currently underway at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) office in Port Harcourt.
Present at the CBN premises are electoral officials and other stakeholders as preparations intensify ahead of the bye-election. The exercise involves the release and allocation of critical election materials to designated local government areas within the senatorial district.
The distribution process is being conducted under the supervision of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to ensure the safe handling and timely delivery of the materials.
The bye-election is expected to hold on Saturday, with INEC assuring voters and stakeholders of its commitment to a credible, transparent, and peaceful electoral process.
