Senator. Dino Melaye, has said that he wishes all those who plan on rigging the forthcoming Edo governorship election the dreaded COVID-19.
Dino made this known Today, during the flag-off of the Edo PDP electioneering campaign for incumbent Governor Obaseki, currently taking place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
The campaign which has dignitaries, chieftains of the party and supporters of the governor in attendance is being done under strict compliance in line with the COVID-19 safety guidelines of the government.
The governor who recently decamped to the PDP from the APC is seeking a second term in office. He is expected to slug it out with his biggest opponent Ize-Iyamu of the APC, who last contested against him on the platform of the PDP.
