The Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Stanley Job has called on the Rivers State Government to extend the decontamination of public places to other LGAs in the state.
The Chairman made the call yesterday in Port Harcourt, after the NUJ premises was decontaminated by the state team. He commended the governor for carrying out the exercise to disinfect public places due to the COVID-19.
The state decontamination team has said that the exercise may be extended to other LGAs in the state, after the completion of the exercise in Obio Akpor and PH LGAs.
The chairman of the team, Abali innocent confirmed this yesterday after the decontamination of the NUJ premises. He noted that the decontamination of the two LGAs are currently ongoing and have reached appreciable level.
