The people of Elibrada community in Emohua local government area of Rivers State on Sunday held a prayer session and peace walk to rededicate the community to God after years of unrest.
The event which had sons and daughters of Elibrada in attendance was held weeks after notorious kidnapper terrorizing the area, Onuigwe Wordi was killed by the Police.
Attendees expreseed joy that peace had finally returned to the community after years of kidnapping.
According to them, many indigenes fled the area due to the unrest and urged those who are yet to return to do so.
One of the Women said 90 percent of them developed High Blood Pressure due to the unrest and thanked God that the community is now peaceful.
