A former Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs in Rivers State, John Bazia says former members of the All Progressives Congress, who recently defected to the People’s Democratic Party used to leak information to the party, when he was a member of the PDP.
Bazia in a statement in Port Harcourt, on Tuesday, said Hon. Davies Ikanya and others were moles of the PDP, in the APC.
He said such despicable act by the former APC memebers contributed greatly to the party, losing elections in the state.
Bazia, also berated the state Governor for issuing a no work, no pay threat to striking workers of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN.
On his part, former Commissioner of Urban and Regional Planning in Rivers State, Reason Onya who defected alongside Bazia, has denied claims by Governor Nyesom Wike that they were sacked by him.
Wike, while speaking at an event in Port Harcourt, on Saturday, said Onya was sacked for poor performance, which led to the collapse of a seven storey building in Port Harcourt, few years ago.
But, the former Commissioner in a statement on Monday, said it is dissapointing that the Governor could make such unfounded claims.
