The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has dismissed reports of a shutdown or suspension of truck loading operations at its facility.
In a statement on Friday, the group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, said the refinery remains fully operational, noting that routine maintenance activities are standard and do not disrupt fuel supply.
The clarification follows earlier media reports suggesting a 15-day maintenance shutdown of the refinery’s petrol-making Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) unit from August 10.
Chiejina confirmed that petrol loading has continued without interruption and that the ex-gantry price of petrol is set at N850 per litre.
