The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, has called for compulsory temperature checks at entry points in public spaces, such as: Places of worship; Supermarkets, Cinemas and many more.
The NCDC made this known in a tweet on its official Twitter handle on Friday. It said everyone should take responsibility so as to limit the transmission rate of the virus.
The Commission, said those with a temperature over 37.50⁰ C should be denied entry into public places and advised to seek medical attention immediately.
The NCDC, advised residents to be careful, as they travel to visit friends and families during the festive season. It noted that the virus spreads when people move about.
The Commission, urged everyone to continue to obey all COVID-19 protocols, because it does not want the spikes experienced over Christmas.
