The Rivers State Government says second dose of the COVID-19, vaccination program will begin on May 15, 2021 in the State.
The State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Princewill Chike said this in a chat with news correspondents in Port Harcourt.
He said those who took the first jab are to go back to the same center, for the second dose.
Prof. Chike called on residents of the state who are yet to take the vaccine to visit government approved centers and take the jab.
He said people should not be scared of taking the vaccine, because they have been approved and have no side effects.
