Rivers state recorded 7 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,436 with 16,137 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 89 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -26, Ondo-19, Imo-16, Edo-7, Kaduna-7, Rivers-7, FCT-3, Ogun-3 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 253,001 with 228,702 discharged and 3135 deaths.
The NCDC, has warned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol and make themselves available for the jab.
