Rivers State recorded 1 new case of Covid-19 yesterday.. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,289 with 11,981 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 78 new cases. Lagos State recorded the highest number with -22, Kaduna-12, FCT-10, Benue-9, Imo-8, Akwa Ibom-4, Delta-4, Kano-4, Jigawa-3, Plateau-1 and Rivers -1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 207,694 with 195,274 discharged and 2,747 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
