Rivers State yesterday, recorded the highest number of Covid-19, cases with 33. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,188 with 11,780 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 141 new cases. Gombe recorded the highest number with –32, Lagos-29, Imo-25, Plateau-9, Benue-5, Borno-4, Kano-3 and Delta-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 206,279 with 194,167 discharged and 2,723 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
