Rivers state recorded 7 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. The brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,854 with 12,640 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 57 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -30, Enugu-9, Rivers-7, Kaduna-3, Osun-3, Abia-1, Bauchi-1, Kano-1, Ogun-1 and Plateau-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 213,589 with 206,518 discharged and 2,974 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocol is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
