Rivers State recorded 6 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,288 with 11,981 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 137 new cases. Lagos State recorded the highest number with -46, FCT-35, Kaduna-20, Benue-13, Oyo-9, Kano-6, Rivers-6, Ekiti-1 and Nasarawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 207,616 with 195,132 discharged and 2,745 deaths.
The NCDC has said that obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
