Rivers state recorded 44 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 14,305 with 13,202 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 859 new cases Lagos recorded the highest number with -555, FCT-57, Rivers-44, Plateau-43, Edo-11, Ondo-34, Kwara-23, Kano-18, Ogun-16, Enugu-11, Oyo-6, Delta-5, Bauchi-3 and Bayelsa-3
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 238,420 with 212,770 discharged and 3024 deaths.
The Rivers State Ministry of Health, says it has distributed the new covid-19 booster doses to health centres.
