Rivers state recorded 3 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state 12,739 with 12,537 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 216 new cases. Imo recorded the highest number with -I53, Plateau-30, FCT-10, Kano-9, Kaduna-8, Lagos-3 and Rivers-3.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 212,627 with 204,249 discharged and 2,905 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
