Rivers State recorded 24 cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,729 with 11,047 discharged and 152 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on it’s official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 393 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -121, Lagos-86, Edo-70, Delta-30, Rivers-24, Plateau-16, Benue-11, Cross River-10, Abia-8, Bayelsa-4, Gombe-4, Bauchi-3, Kano-3, Adamawa-2 and Taraba-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 202, 191 with 190,901 discharged and 2661 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
