Rivers State recorded 22 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,607 with 12,343 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 165 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -77, FCT-43, Rivers-22, Oyo-10, Osun-6, Bayelsa-2, Edo-2, Kaduna-1, Kano-1 and Ogun-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 210,460 with 202,379 discharged and 2,882 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
