Rivers state recorded 2 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,877 with 12,665 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 141 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -46, Benue-44, FCT-15, Kastina-12, Bauchi-9, Kano-4, Delta-3, Enugu-2, Kwara-2, Rivers-2, Gombe-1 and Plateau-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 213,818 with 207,016 discharged and 2,974 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
