Rivers State recorded 14 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday.. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,268 with 11,910 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 269 new cases. FCT recorded the highest number with -89, Lagos-54, Benue-24, Delta-17, Kano-15, Rivers-14, Gombe-13, Kwara-11, Bauchi-9, Plateau-8, Niger-7, Imo-3, Edo-2, Ekiti-1, Jigawa-1 and Nasarawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 207,479 with 195,052 discharged and 2,743 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
