Rivers State recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 2996 with, 2850 discharged and 59 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19 in the country yesterday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 281 new cases of the virus. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – (123), FCT (64), Kaduna (38), Imo (15), Rivers (11), Plateau (8) Ogun (5), Bayelsa (4), Kwara (4), Bauchi (3), Edo (3), Kano (2), and Osun (1).
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 67,838 with 63,430 and 1,176 deaths.
