Rivers State recorded 16 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,967 with 11,440 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on it’s official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 255 new cases. Imo recorded the highest number with -124, Lagos-72, FCT-36, Rivers-16, Enugu-6 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 204,456 with 192,620 discharged and 2,677 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
