Rivers State recorded 0 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 6,877 with 6,702 discharged and 98 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 97 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 50, Kaduna-12, FCT-10, Bayelsa-8, Imo-3, Kwara-3, Bauchi-2, Osun-2, Akwa Ibom-1, Edo-1, Kano-1, Ogun-1, Oyo-1, Plateau-1 and Zamfara-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 162,275 with 148,882 recovered patients, and 2036 deaths.
Meanwhile, the agency has advised Nigerians to take the jab as it is safe and has no side effects.
