Rivers State recorded 10 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,996 with 6,854 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 84 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 26, Akwa Ibom-16, Rivers-10, Ebonyi-9, Abia-6, Kano-6, Osun-3, Bauchi-2, Delta-2, Edo-1, Jigawa-1, Kaduna-1 and Ogun-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 163,736 with 154,098 recovered patients, and 2,060 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to continue obeying all COVID-19 protocols despite taking the jab.
