Rivers State recorded 0 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. Making it the second day in a row the state recorded no new cases. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 7,060 with 6,903 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 70 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 27, Kaduna-16, Ondo-16, Yobe-6 and Bauchi-5.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 164,303 with 154,384 recovered patients, and 2,061 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to continue to obey all COVID-19 protocols despite taking the vaccine.
