Rivers State recorded 1 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,285 with 7159discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 7 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 3, Kwara -3 and Rivers -1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 167,066 with 163,463 recoverd patients, and 2,117 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
