Rivers State recorded 3 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,081, with 6,914 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 65 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 41, Kaduna-6, Kano-3, Rivers-3, Plateau-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Imo-2, Oyo-2, Edo-1, Bauchi-1 and Osun-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 164,488 with 154,441 recovered patients, and 2,061 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to continue to obey all COVID-19 protocols despite taking the vaccine.
