Rivers State recorded 3 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,999 with 6,855 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 57 new Cases. FCT recorded the highest number with – 20, Lagos-19, Bayelsa-7, Kaduna-4, Rivers-3, Osun-3 and Jigawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 163,793 with 154,107 recovered patients, and 2,060 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to continue obeying all COVID-19 protocols despite taking the vaccine.
