Rivers State recorded 3 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,376 with 7,226 discharged and 101 deaths.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Wednesday.

In total, Nigeria recorded 48 new cases. Info recorded the highest number of cases with – 14, Oyo-10, Gombe-6, FCT-5, Ogun-4, Delta-3, Ekiti-3 and Rivers-3.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 168,915 with 164,652 recovered patients, and 2,125 deaths.

The agency has urged Nigerians to take the vaccines as it is safe with no side effects.
