Rivers State recorded 0 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 7,132 with 7034 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 47 new Cases. Adamawa recorded the highest number with – 19, Lagos-16, Enugu-3, Kaduna-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Delta-2 and FCT-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,515 with 156,358 recovered patients, and 2,065 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols, as their is an emergence of a new variant globally.
