Rivers State recorded 0 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 7,228 with 7048 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 37 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 29, Akwa Ibom-3, FCT-2, Gombe-1, Kaduna-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 166,098 with 156,528 recovered patients, and 2,071 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as their is an emergence of a new variant.
