Rivers State recorded 0 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 7,259 with 7074 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 31 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with -15, Gombe-5, Akwa Ibom-4, FCT-3, Kaduna-2 and Kwara-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 166,285 with 156,557 recoverd patients, and 2,071 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a new variant.
