Rivers State recorded 3 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,262 with 7074 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 30 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with -26, Rivers-3 and Kwara-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 166,315 with 156,558 recoverd patients, and 2,071 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a new variant.
