Rivers State recorded 1 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,132 with 7034 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 30 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 21, Adamawa-8 and Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,370 with 156,250 recovered patients, and 2,065 deaths
The agency has said that it will not accept vaccines from unauthorized sources despite its scarcity globally.
