Rivers Rivers State recorded 0 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,114 with 7006 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 28 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 14, Osun-3, Ogun-3, Kaduna-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Abia-1, FCT-1 and Kwara-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,181 with 155,361 recovered patients, and 2,063 deaths.
The agency has said that it will not accept vaccines from unauthorized sources despite its scarcity globally.
