Rivers State recorded 0 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 7,262 with 7075 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 203 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with -Benue-178, Lagos-10, Ondo-6, FCT-4, Kaduna-4 and Plateau-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 166,518 with 158,781 recoverd patients, and 2,099 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a new variant.
