Rivers State recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,924 with 6,797 discharged and 100 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 106 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 33, FCT-20, Cross River-11, Rivers-11, Kaduna-7, Edo-6, Ondo-6, Nasarawa-3, Ogun-3, Kano-2, Bauchi-2 and Osun-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 162,997 with 151,708 recovered patients, and 2058 deaths.
Meanwhile, the agency has warned Nigerians to be careful and observe all COVID-19 protocols, as they travel during the Easter period to be with family and friends.
