Rivers State recorded 6 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the still stands at 6,899 with 6,739 discharged and 99 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19
In total, Nigeria recorded 101 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 32, Abia-16, Ebonyi-14, FCT-10, Bayelsa-6, Rivers-6, Bauchi-5, Jigawa-4, Oyo-3, Akwa Ibom-3 and Osun-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 162,489 with 150,205 recovered patients, and 2041 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to take the jab, as it is safe and has no side effects.
