The All Progressives Congress, in Rivers State has reacted to the ruling of a court which struck out suits by aggrieved members of the party challenging the conduct of the party’s congresses in the state.
Publicity Secretary of the party, Chris Finebone in a statement today, described the ruling as an “icing on the cake.”
He called on supporters of the party to celebrate the victory with magnanimity.
According to him, the ruling marks a new beginning for the party in the state, noting that the Rivers APC has been through a lot.
He also advised party members to take advantage of the Dawari George’s reconciliation committee to make their grievances known.
Some aggrieved members of the Rivers APC, had dragged the party to court for an interlocutory injuction over the conduct of congresses in the State.
