A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has restrained the Police from arresting the state Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Chijioke Ihunwo, Happy Bennett and Jinjiri Bala.
The court presided over by Justice G.O Ollor also restrained Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule and their subordinates from taking further steps in arresting, or infringing on the fundamental rights of the applicants pending the determination of the Originating applications.
Happy Bennett and Jinjiri Bala had been declared wanted by the Police in connection with the murder of former Ahoada DPO, Bako Amgbashim.
