A federal high court sitting in Owerri has granted an order restraining the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Desmond Akawor and the party executives from parading themselves as the party excos.
Justice T. G. Ringim granted the interim injunction restraining the third defendants that emerged from the PDP Rivers State Congress.
The matter was instituted by some aggrieved members of the PDP in Rivers State who were not satisfied with the recently conducted state congress, which produced the current executives.
