The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has emphasised the importance of sustained prayers for Nigeria, warning that the country’s condition could have deteriorated significantly without divine intervention.

Speaking on the role of prayer in national affairs, Adeboye dismissed criticism from those who question the impact of prolonged spiritual efforts. “Some say, ‘You’ve been praying and fasting — where is the result?’ I laugh. If we had not prayed, Nigeria would have been in a far worse state,” he said.

He called on Nigerians not to relent in their prayers, stressing that continued spiritual commitment remains crucial to the country’s stability.
