A concerned father, Olalekan Ige has written an open letter to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state over the curfew imposed in some parts of Port Harcourt, which takes effect from Today
In the letter, Ige brought to the notice of the governor, the untold hardship the curfew would bring to students about to write the GCE exams which begins today, November 23, 2020.
He called on the governor to kindly take a second look at his decision as students whose centres falls within the affected areas would go through enormous difficulties getting to the location.

Open letter to Gov Wike
Your Excellency Sir,
Our children will begin GCE from tomorrow, Monday, November 23, 2020, hence the 24hr curfew imposed around Rumuokoro will cause untold hardship to them, especially those with centres around Choba, Alakahia, Rumuokoro and Rumuigbo.
Kindly take a second look at this sir, as the GCE has been postponed twice this year already.
Security is important, just as education is ideal sir.
Thank you sir as you give consideration.
